About The 100

The 100 (pronounced The Hundred) is an American post-apocalyptic science fiction drama television series that premiered on March 19, 2014, on The CW. The series, developed by Jason Rothenberg, is loosely based on the novel series of the same name by Kass Morgan.

The 100 is a good TV show that really steps up and finds its footing in Season 2. If you were an early fan that fell off, it's worth your time to catch up before diving in with Season 3. You'll be lost without the context. Season 2 has a sense of finality to it, but it's also a very powerful setup.

Was the 100 a success?

Season seven of The 100 was confirmed earlier this year by The CW after proving to be a rip-roaring success among audiences. However, at the Television Critics Association's summer tour, The CW's president Mark Pedowitz announced the show would be ending after the seventh series.

best show i ever watched. rewatched it like three or four times and every time i see it, im filled with all the emotions i had or even more enhanced then the first time i saw it. the 100 helped me go through all the bad times and its the happiness of my days. 10000000000 percent recommend. i loved how each and every single character slowly develops into a whole new person by the end of the seasons. i love and look up to the whole cast. the writers did an amazing job writing the 100. Each episode is filled with surprises and unlike other shows, the 100 hooks the audience into the show within the first 5 minutes. the 100 shows empowerment in female and male, which could be very inspiring to people from all ages. i have hooked many people to this show in days and all got a really good liking to the show, some i would even say obsessed. the 100 has love, action, family, and friendship. the 100 could make someone sit on the edge of their seat, sobbing, laughing, and sometimes scared of what is going to happen. the 100 at first could seem a little complicated but all your answer will slowly get solved. the 100 overall is a really amazing show that i highly recommend you to watch.

The 100, a SciFi drama based on the novel series written by Kass Morgan.

A nuclear conflict has destroyed the Earth and made the lands not suitable for living. To survive the man made apocalypse, the people fly up to space and learn to thrive by living on a space station called Ark. Once the Ark reached the maximum carrying capacity, there's no other way other than to return back to roots.

Ninety seven years later, a space ship with 100 juvenile delinquent sent back to earth to research earth's sustainability. Series of events unfold, as the teens with no guidance of adults starts chaos and confusion for leadership. To surprise, some clans survived apocalypse and still living on Earth after many generations.

The grounds, who live clash between clans for the power to rule. They have different blood( night blood/ Nablida) that makes them resistant to radiation as a part of evolution. They talk in trigedasleng. One phrase I'll always remember is " jus drein jus daun". Blood for blood. There are other clan of grounders, the Reapers. The mountain men, who were living in a lockdown since apocalypse. So, technically speaking a 97 years of lockdown.

The 100 is a good show to watch though it would not work out for those who are peculiar about how accurate are the science facts ( esp things like radiation etc). A job well done on certain cast members like Bellamy, Octavia and of course Murphy who survived it all. Also kudos to Raven however was disappointed by the death of good characters like Finn and Lincoln. A great show for survival and team work strategies however Clarke was sometimes boring in the essence of 'killing a few in order to save many' aspect and wherever she is or makes a decision, a lot of people die.... I love her and I'm also glad that she is actually married to Bellamy in real life. The plots were unpredictable as they took a twist of turns and that's a good thing as you do not know what to expect. Can't wait for SS7#wonkru. It greatly emphasize on friendship and family and saving your own people... However in this show some friends became enemies and some enemies became friends.
